Thousands evacuated following Indonesia volcano eruption

The volcano has erupted multiple times recently, with the latest eruption spewing volcanic ash 1.5 kilometers above its peak. The ashes have affected two sub-districts near the volcano, leading to the evacuation of over 2,200 residents. Authorities have raised the volcano's status to the second-highest alert level and expanded the exclusion zone. The volcanic activity has also forced the closure of Frans Seda Airport.
