A statue honoring 23 Kosovo Albanians who saved Jews during World War II has been unveiled in Pristina. The statue, called the "Wall of Honor," was placed in a park and attended by descendants of the rescuers, political leaders, and the U.S. and German ambassadors. The statue commemorates the bravery of local Albanians who helped Jews escape, as well as the unique case of the Jewish population in Kosovo, which grew after the war.
