Benjamin Netanyahu has said he is confident of deepening economic ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel without having formal diplomatic relations. Netanyahu was speaking in a television interview in Jerusalem, adding that the links under a proposed “economic corridor” from the Arabian Peninsula to Europe would involve transport, energy and communications technology.
