Contempt plea against Nawaz Sharif fixed for hearing
[Collection]The Islamabad High Court has scheduled a hearing for November 15 regarding a petition against former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The petition accuses Sharif of delivering anti-judiciary speeches five years ago. The contempt of court petition was filed in 2018 and has been pending for the past five years. Sharif, who recently returned to Pakistan after a self-imposed exile, hopes to clear his name in order to lead his party in the upcoming general elections.
