Protesters rally in Beirut in solidarity with Gaza Palestinians

[Collection]Thousands of people gathered in central Beirut to show their support for Palestinians in Gaza. The rally, organized by Hamas and the Lebanese Sunni Islamist Jama'a Islamiya, called for an end to Arab countries' efforts to normalize ties with Israel and for Syria to join the war. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and called for an end to the "Gaza Genocide." They also urged Egypt to open the Rafah border crossing for humanitarian aid to Gaza. The rally took place as Israeli forces expanded their ground operations in Gaza.
