Afghanistan: Refugees in Torkham region appeal for relocation to their homes

[Collection]Refugees who have returned to Afghanistan and are currently residing in the Torkham Crossing region are urging the government to expedite the registration and assistance distribution processes. They are seeking help from the Taliban before winter arrives. The Afghan Red Crescent Society acknowledges that food assistance is not a long-term solution and will focus more on migrants relocating to isolated parts of the country. Thousands of Afghan immigrants have returned through the Torkham border, with around 500 families using this route daily on average.
