China urges Myanmar to cooperate on maintaining stability on border

[Collection]China has called on Myanmar to cooperate in maintaining stability along their common border following a surge of fighting between junta forces and insurgents. China urged Myanmar to ensure the safety of Chinese border residents and strengthen the security of Chinese personnel. One Chinese citizen was killed and several were wounded when a shell fired by the Myanmar military hit the Chinese side of the border. China has supported Myanmar in finding its own path and called on the international community to respect its sovereignty.
