An Indian-origin Israeli soldier was killed while fighting against Hamas in Gaza. Staff-Sgt. Halel Solomon, 20, was from the southern Israeli town of Dimona. Dimona’s mayor, Benny Bitton took his Facebook and said, “It is with great sorrow and grief that we announce the death of a son of Dimona, Halel Solomon, in the battle in Gaza."
