'Exercise restraint', China tells Iran, Pakistan amid rising tensions after missile attack
[Collection]China urged Pakistan and Iran to exercise restraint and maintain peace after Iran's missile attacks on Balochistan. Earlier today, Pakistan recalled its ambassador from Iran and suspended high-level visits. China also emphasized on upholding international norms and respecting sovereignty. Iran said the targeted bases belonged to the Baloch militant group Jaish al-Adl (JAI). China urged both countries to avoid any action that would lead to escalate tensions and maintain peace in the region. Jaish al-Adl, or the "Army of Justice", is a Sunni militant group founded in 2012 that largely operates in Pakistan.
