Man sentenced to life in prison for the fatal shooting of a deputy US marshal in Arizona in 2018

[Collection]A man found guilty of a 2018 fatal shooting of a federal agent in Tucson got a life term on Tuesday. Ryan Phillip Schlesinger was absent from court during Monday's sentencing, during which his legal representatives advocated for a term shorter than 50 years. Schlesinger also received consecutive sentences of 20 years for attempted murder and 50 years for discharging firearm during commission of violent offense.
