Council orders Turkish firm to tear down holiday homes after trees cut down in ancient woodland

{}A mystery Turkish firm has been ordered by a council to tear down holiday homes built without planning permission in a 500-year-old English woodland. The company bought the 33-acre Jacobs Farm in Silsden for £1.05 million two years ago. A planning inspector rejected its appeal and ordered 100 trees to be planted to replace those lost during the unauthorised works.
