Two young scientists bought 116 acres in 1997; 25 years later, they protected it for wildlife

{}In 1997, young scientists Laura Bonk and Phil Trowbridge bought 116 acres beside New Hampshire’s Bear Brook State Park. About 25 years later, they placed the entire Derevya Farms property under a permanent conservation easement while retaining ownership, protecting its forests, wetlands, waterways and wildlife habitat.
