Australia to require AI-made child abuse material be removed from search results

[Collection]Australia's internet regulator has drafted a new code that will require search engines like Google and Bing to prevent the sharing of child sexual abuse material created by artificial intelligence. The code will mandate that search engines ensure such content does not appear in search results and that AI functions cannot generate synthetic versions of the material, also known as deepfakes.
